Compliance checks are at the very heart of safe quality care we deliver to clients. All Registered Nurses and HCAs are required to complete our rigorous compliance checks before we place them with clients.

We know that gathering all relevant compliance evidence can be a complex & challenging process. That's why our dedicated compliance officers are always on hand to guide you all the way. If you are not able to come to our office, our field based nurse advisers & compliance officers can arrange to meet you near your home. Our compliance checks include the following :

Face to Face interview

You will be asked to attend a face to face interview with our Clinical interviewer. This will be an opportunity for us to meet you, review your original compliance documents and discuss your experience and skills.

Employment History & References

We need your employment history for the last ten years. You will submit a completed Nurselink Application Form & your up to date CV. All employment gaps more than 3 months have to be explained. In addition, you will need to include contact details for two separate employers, one of which must be from your current or most recent employment covering a minimum of 3 years

Verification of Identify & Right to Work

We will need to verify your identity and eligibility to work in the UK.  Where applicable, we will ask you to provide your original Passport, Proof of your current address, Visa/Biometric ID card, 2 passport sized photographs and Proof of National Insurance Number.

Occupational Health-Fitness to Work

If you are interested in covering NHS shifts, we are required to provide your 'Fit to Work Certificate' (FTW) as outlined by the Department of Health. We fully understand that this information is personal and adhere to stringent confidentiality procedures. We collate your immunisation and laboratory reports and forward these along with your Confidential Health Questionnaire to Healthier Business who will review and provide you with a Fit to Work certificate. If you already have a  FTW certificate dated with in the past  12 months, that will be acceptable. We will need to see and file the evidence of immunity.

DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service)

All Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants are required to hold a current Enhanced DBS check. If you do not have a registered DBS (Update Service),  we will need to complete a new one on your behalf. We process your DBS application through UCheck. We require a payment of £54.50 before we can process your DBS. To make this payment by card click this link here .
