Yes. However, if you have an active Update Service and can supply the original DBS linked to that service, this will suffice.
The initial screening interview is conducted over the phone. If you are successful we will subsequently arrange a face to face interview conducted in person with a Nurselink Senior Nurse Advisor. If you cannot come to our Nottingham office we can arrange to meet you in your local area.
Yes, we can arrange to have your bloods taken through a third party and the results will come back to us. A fee is applicable.
A. We aim to get you fully registered as quickly as possible and our experienced consultants will guide you through the process. In order to get you fully compliant for work we will require a clear DBS report, proof of eligibility to work in the UK, up-to-date immunisations, satisfactory references and mandatory training. If all goes smoothly, the process can take an average of four weeks.
A. We prefer that you have at least 1 year care experience within the health and social care sector, either paid or voluntary
A. We accept candidates who hold full-time /part-time posts with other organisations. Multi-agency registration is certainly permissible. However, we cannot supply you into the same workplace where you hold a substantive post but we can provide you with work elsewhere.
A. Yes, however, it would be an advantage for you to drive as we place in various locations throughout the UK and relying on public transport can often limit where you are placed, especially at short notice. If you rely on public transport, shifts we allocate to you will be limited due to certain locations and early starts.
A. We will offer you competitive Pay Rates to reflect on your commitment to cover shifts at short notice. Full pay details will be discussed at interview stage if successful. Pay rates will also vary from placement to placement and these will be discussed with you prior to booking you on a shift.
A. We pay you weekly by direct transfer to your bank/ building society/Limited Company? Umbrella accounts by BACS. The Payroll week runs from Monday to the following Sunday.Payslips will be available on Tuesday evening. You need to submit your timesheets by Monday 12 pm following the week you have worked.
Yes. If you work through your Ltd Company we will need the Limited Company's registration details, Professional Indemnity Insurance and business bank account. We deduct tax and national insurance at source for all Public sector shifts.
A. We do not pay mileage unless otherwise stated when we offer you the placement.
Yes, you are entitled to 28 days paid holiday per year which is paid pro-rata, based on the average hours you have worked for us. You need to ensure that you give one week's notice for any paid holidays you would like to take and ensure you write “PAID HOLIDAY” clearly on your timesheet.
